International Conference on AI for Sustainable Development (AISD2023)-16th & 17th September, 2023

The International Conference on AI for Sustainable Development (AISD2023) was organized by AI Foundation Trust in association with KMEA Engineering College from September 16-17, 2023. The conference was technically sponsored by IEEE Computational Intelligence Society, UP Chapter. On day 1 Dr. Tushar Kanti Bera, National Institute of Technology, Durgapur delivered a keynote address which was a highlight of the conference. He shared insights from his extensive research experience, particularly in the field of Electric Vehicle in sustainability. His engaging presentation captivated the audience and set the tone for the technical sessions that followed. The technical session on Day 1 featured presentations and discussions on various AI-related topics. Researchers and experts presented their findings and explored the potential of AI in addressing sustainability challenges. The workshop on Machine Learning Using Python was conducted by Dr. Sonam Gupta, Ajay Kumar Garg Engineering College, Ghaziabad, India Dr. Sonam Gupta's workshop on Machine Learning Using Python provided participants with practical knowledge and hands-on experience in this vital area of AI. Day 2 of the conference started with Workshop on Blockchain and Its Applications which was delivered by Dr. Monica Gahlawat, L J University, Ahmedabad, Gujarat, India. Dr. Monica Gahlawat's workshop on Blockchain and Its Applications explored the rapidly evolving world of blockchain technology. Dr. Avimanyou Vatsa, Department of Computer Science & Engineering, Fairleigh Dickinson University, USA delivered an inspiring keynote address, emphasizing the importance of AI in shaping a sustainable future. His insights into AI's potential to drive positive change resonated with the audience. The conference concluded with a valedictory session where the organizing committee expressed gratitude to participants and recognized outstanding contributions. Participants' feedback provided valuable insights for future improvements and affirmed the success of the event. Best Paper Awards were presented to acknowledge exceptional research and innovation. International Conference on Integrating Recent Innovations in Science and Technology: Shaping the Future (ICIRIST-2024): 1-3 February, 2024

The AI Foundation Trust collaborated with Dhanalakshmi Srinivasan Engineering College (Autonomous), Perambalur, Tamil Nadu, as an academic partner for the International Conference on Integrating Recent Innovations in Science and Technology: Shaping the Future (ICIRIST-2024), held from 1–3 February 2024. The conference brought together academicians, researchers, industry professionals, and students to present and discuss cutting-edge research in science, engineering, technology, and allied disciplines. The event featured technical sessions, invited talks, and research paper presentations, fostering interdisciplinary collaboration and innovation. The conference provided an excellent platform for knowledge exchange, networking, and dissemination of high-quality research with opportunities for publication in conference proceedings and reputed journals.

The AI Foundation Trust inaugurated the AIF Students' Chapter at KMEA Engineering College, Ernakulam, Kerala, on 17 April 2023 to foster Artificial Intelligence education, innovation, and research among engineering students. The ceremony was graced by Dr. Amar Nishad T. M., Director/Principal, KMEA Engineering College, as the Chief Guest, Dr. Tushar Kanti Bera, National Institute of Technology (NIT) Durgapur, India, as the Guest of Honor, and Dr. Rashmi Saini, G. B. Pant Institute of Engineering and Technology, Uttarakhand, as the Guest Speaker. The event marked the beginning of a collaborative initiative to strengthen industry-academia interaction and provide students with opportunities for AI-focused learning, research, and skill development. One Week Online Workshop on "Implementing Machine Learning Models Using Python": 13–18 July 2022.

The AI Foundation Trust, in collaboration with ITM University, Gwalior, India, successfully organized a One Week Online Workshop on "Implementing Machine Learning Models Using Python" from 13–18 July 2022. The workshop was co-sponsored by the Institute for Certification of Computing Professionals (ICCP), USA, and technically sponsored by the IEEE Computational Intelligence Society, Uttar Pradesh Section. Participants received hands-on training in implementing core machine learning algorithms, including Linear Regression, Decision Trees, Random Forests, Support Vector Machines, K-Nearest Neighbors, and a complete Machine Learning project using Python.

AIF Blogathon on Applications of Machine Learning-5 December, 2021

The Artificial Intelligence Foundation Trust in collaboration with the AIF Students' Chapter, ITM University, Gwalior, organized the AIF Blogathon on Applications of Machine Learning to encourage students to explore and communicate innovative applications of AI and Machine Learning through technical writing. The competition covered diverse themes including healthcare, smart transportation, agriculture, cybersecurity, Industry 4.0, and environmental sustainability, with submissions evaluated by expert reviewers based on originality, technical quality, relevance, and presentation. The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from student members, promoting research, creativity, and scientific communication in emerging AI technologies. Syed Chowdhury Jahin secured the First Position, Nikhil Pandey won the Second Position, and Ishu Katiyar achieved the Third Position, recognizing their outstanding contributions to the Blogathon.

On May 22nd and 23rd, 2021, the Artificial Intelligence Foundation Trust, India successfully organized the International Conference on Artificial Intelligence (ICAI-2021) through virtual platform. The two-day international conference brought together researchers, academicians, industry experts, and students from India and abroad to discuss recent advances and emerging trends in Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Deep Learning, Blockchain, Computer Vision, Internet of Things (IoT), and allied technologies. The conference commenced with the inaugural session, followed by keynote addresses from eminent experts: Dr. Vrijendra Singh, Chairman, IEEE Computational Intelligence Society, UP Section and Associate Dean (Planning, Monitoring and Evaluation), Indian Institute of Information Technology (IIIT), Prayagraj, India; Dr. Korhan Cengiz, Senior Member IEEE and Faculty Member, Trakya University, Edirne, Turkey; Dr. Raghava Mutharaju, Faculty Member, Indraprastha Institute of Information Technology (IIIT Delhi), India; and Dr. Tushar Kanti Bera, National Institute of Technology (NIT) Durgapur, India. Their keynote sessions provided valuable insights into cutting-edge AI research and emerging technological innovations. The conference also featured two expert workshops. The workshop on "Deep Learning: Bridging the Gap between Theoretical and Practical" was conducted by Dr. Ankit Vidyarthi, Jaypee Institute of Information Technology (JIIT), Noida, India, and Dr. Rishav Singh, National Institute of Technology (NIT) Delhi, India. Another workshop on "Blockchain and Its Applications" was delivered by Dr. Dharmender Singh Kushwaha, Professor and Head, Department of Computer Science & Engineering, Motilal Nehru National Institute of Technology (MNNIT), Prayagraj, India, along with Mr. Amrendra Singh Yadav, Senior Research Scholar, MNNIT Prayagraj, India, and Mr. Vijayant Pawar, Senior Research Scholar, National Institute of Technology (NIT) Delhi, India. A total of 30 research papers were presented across five parallel technical sessions (ICAI01–ICAI05), covering diverse domains including deep learning, computer vision, healthcare AI, intelligent transportation, blockchain, cybersecurity, cloud computing, fuzzy systems, IoT, smart agriculture, sentiment analysis, and image processing. The technical sessions offered an excellent platform for researchers and scholars to present innovative ideas, exchange knowledge, and foster interdisciplinary collaborations. The conference concluded with the Valedictory Session and Best Paper Awards, recognizing outstanding research contributions. ICAI-2021 successfully strengthened academic-industry interaction, encouraged high-quality AI research, and reaffirmed the commitment of the Artificial Intelligence Foundation Trust towards promoting innovation, responsible Artificial Intelligence, and global research collaboration.

On 18 April 2021, the Artificial Intelligence Foundation Trust, India successfully organized the Virtual National Seminar on Trusted Artificial Intelligence and the Inaugural Ceremony of the International Association for Responsible Artificial Intelligence (IARAI). The event promoted ethical, accountable, and transparent adoption of Artificial Intelligence in society. The seminar was graced by Dr. Alex Khang (GRITEx, Vietnam) and Dr. Tushar Kanti Bera (NIT Durgapur, India). Dr. Ankit Vidyarthi (JIIT, Noida, India) delivered the keynote session as the Resource Person. The program witnessed enthusiastic participation from academicians, researchers, and students, with e-certificates awarded to all participants.

Virtual National Seminar on Cloud Computing: Fundamentals and and Research Directions

On March 21, 2021, Virtual National Seminar on Cloud Computing: Fundamentals and Research Directions introduced participants to the core concepts, architectures, and services of cloud computing. The session highlighted emerging research trends, real-world applications, and future opportunities in cloud technologies. Delivered by Dr. Monica Gahlawat (LJ University, Ahmedabad), it provided valuable insights for students, researchers, and academicians. The seminar was conducted online by the Artificial Intelligence Foundation, Lucknow, India.

Two Days Online Program on Machine Learning using Python

On August 4th and 5th, 2020, AI Foundation Trust organized Two Days Workshop on Machine Learning using Python in association with the Department of Computer Science and Engineering, Oriental University, Madhya Pradesh. The sessions were delivered for the students of B. Tech Computer Science and Engineering. The course covered the fundamentals of Python Programming and the implementation of machine learning algorithms using python programming.

Virtual National Seminar on Post Covid-19 Problems of Human Life & Solutions

On July 26, 2020, the Artificial Intelligence Foundation organized an online seminar on COVID-19 Awareness, bringing together experts from academia, industry, and environmental sciences. The program was graced by Sri Anand Swaroop Verma, Environmentalist and Former NTPC Executive, as the Chief Guest; Shri Krishna Nand Chaturvedi, Director-in-Charge, NIELIT Ranchi, as the Guest of Honour; and Dr. Pawan Kumar Singh, Professor, Amity University, Lucknow, as the Special Guest. The seminar highlighted the causes, symptoms, prevention, and safety measures related to COVID-19, emphasizing the importance of awareness, hygiene, and responsible behavior during the pandemic. On July 05, 2020, Artificial Intelligence Foundation organized a One-Day Webinar on Artificial Intelligence Techniques to highlight recent advancements and applications of AI. The inaugural session was graced by Sri V. B. Singh, who emphasized the role of AI in replicating human intelligence to benefit society. The first technical session, delivered by Dr. V. Raghava Mutharaju, focused on Knowledge Graphs and Ontology, covering their fundamentals, design, and research applications. The second session by Dr. Kirti Seth introduced the basics of Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Deep Learning, Artificial Neural Networks, and Swarm Intelligence, including Particle Swarm Optimization and Ant Colony Optimization. The webinar provided participants with valuable insights into emerging AI technologies and current research trends.
