About the workshop

Blockchain is a leading software platform for digital assets. It is a data structure used to create a decentralized ledger and is composed of blocks in a serialized manner. A block contains a set of transactions, a hash of the previous block, timestamp, block reward, block number, and so on. Every block contains a hash of the previous block, creating a chain of blocks linked with each other. Every node in the network holds a copy of the blockchain. There are different consensus protocols based on Proof-of-work, proof-of-stake, etc. This technology is implemented in various real-time applications. Cryptocurrencies, particularly the First and well-known Bitcoin and others such as Ethereum, are canonical examples of the blockchain paradigm.
Blockchain is an emerging platform for developing decentralized applications and data storage, over and beyond its role as a cryptocurrency platform. Even though blockchain technology has become popularly known because of its use in implementing Cryptocurrencies such as Bitcoin, Ethereum, etc., the blockchain platform holds much more promise in various areas such as logging of important events in a system, recording transactions, e-governance, etc. Hence, it is important to bring awareness among researchers & academicians and train manpower on blockchain to do innovative research work, projects, and create a knowledge base.

Workshop On Deep Learning-Bridging the Gap from Theoretical to Practical

About the workshop

Due to the feasibility of collecting huge data from different image acquisition sources, there are many possibilities of using Machine learning, Deep learning and the Computational Intelligence to interpret and to hunt knowledge from the collected data. The workshop aims in consolidating the experimental results integrating the Machine Learning, Deep Learning and Computational Intelligence for freely available datasets. The aim of the workshop is to float relevant information, knowledge and hidden concepts about building Deep Model from scratch. The workshop targets the audience in form of U.G. and P.G. students, faculties and research scholars who want to work in the field of image computations, to enhance their skills sets.

All the accepted papers will be published in a special issue of the “Journal of Informatics, Electrical & Electronics Engineering (ISSN: 2582-7006)”.
